Wall Media Permissions

Change the permissions for every media item in one wall at the same time.

Wall Media Permissions lets you update access rules for all media in one wall at once. Use it when you need to add a price, subscription requirement, follow requirement, private list rule, or limited-time access rule across a full wall without editing each post one by one.

Accessing Wall Media Permissions

  1. Open your own profile's posts page.
  2. Click the FBuddy button next to the wall selector.
  3. Select Wall Media Permissions.
  4. Wait for the Wall Media Permissions window to load your walls.

Wall Media Permissions is enabled by default. To hide or show it, open FBuddy icon > Tweaks > FBuddy Features and use the Wall Media Permissions toggle.

Updating a Wall

  1. Open Wall Media Permissions.
  2. Choose a wall from the Wall menu.
  3. Click Scan Wall.
  4. Check Posts scanned, Individual media found, and Bundles found. If Skipped posts appears, those posts will not be updated.
  5. Click Edit Permissions.
  6. Choose the permissions you want to apply in the Media Permissions window, or leave it as No permissions to remove permission rules from the wall media.
  7. Click Save.
  8. Click Apply to Wall.
  9. Refresh the page after FBuddy shows the update result.

The permission choices you save are applied to every individual media item and media bundle FBuddy finds in the selected wall.

Wall Labels

The wall menu may show labels next to each wall:

  • Required: a required wall.
  • Main Feed: your main feed wall.
  • Private: a private wall.
  • Public: a public wall.

Use these labels to confirm that you selected the intended wall before scanning or applying changes.

Permission Options

In the Media Permissions window, you can use basic permissions for common rules:

  • Require Purchase: set a purchase price from $1 to $500.
  • Require Subscription: require any subscription tier or choose a specific tier.
  • Require Follow: require the fan to follow you.

If you save with No permissions, FBuddy removes permission rules from the media it updates.

Turn on Advanced Permissions when you need more specific rules:

  • Add multiple permission groups. Groups are separated by OR, so a fan can qualify through any one group.
  • Combine rules inside one group, such as purchase and subscription requirements.
  • Add Private List to limit access to fans on a selected list.
  • Add Limited Time to make a permission group available only within a selected time window.
  • Use Subscribed (More Options) to add timing conditions to a subscription requirement.

Presets

Use presets when you reuse the same permission setup across walls.

  1. Click Edit Permissions.
  2. Choose the rules you want.
  3. Click Save Preset.
  4. Enter a Label.
  5. Click Save.

To reuse a saved setup later, click Load Preset in the Media Permissions window and choose the preset label.

Important Notes

  • Wall Media Permissions works only from your own profile's posts page.
  • Applying changes affects all media FBuddy finds in the selected wall and cannot be undone from this window. Review the selected wall and permission rules before clicking Apply to Wall.
  • The Apply to Wall button stays disabled until FBuddy finds media in the wall and you have clicked Save in the Media Permissions window.
  • FBuddy skips posts in the wall that are not from your creator account.
  • Refresh the page after applying changes so the updated media permissions are visible.
