Vault Media Status
See whether vault media in a DM has already been purchased, offered, or sent to that fan.
Vault Media Status helps you avoid sending the wrong vault media in DMs. It adds color indicators to vault media so you can quickly see whether that fan has purchased it, was offered it but has not purchased it yet, or has already received it.
Accessing Vault Media Status
- Open Fansly and go to a direct message conversation.
- Open your DM vault media picker.
- Look for FBuddy status colors on supported vault media.
Vault Media Status is on by default. To turn it off or back on, open FBuddy icon > Tweaks > FBuddy Features and use the Vault Media Status toggle.
Reading Media Statuses
Vault Media Status can show these indicators on vault media in DMs:
- Green: This fan has purchased this media.
- Red: This fan was offered this media but has not purchased it yet.
- Blue: This fan has already received this media when there is no purchase or offer status to show.
When a price is available, FBuddy may show the highest price on the media tile. If the fan has already received media that also has a purchase or offer status, FBuddy may keep the green or red status color and add an eye icon to the tile. Hover the colored status area to see the plain-language status message.
Using Statuses With Text Templates
When you use a DM Text Template that includes media, FBuddy checks whether any attached media was already sent to the current fan.
- Open a DM conversation.
- Click the FBuddy button next to the message field.
- Select Text Templates.
- Choose a template that includes media.
- Review any Media Already Sent warning before sending.
If FBuddy shows Media Already Sent, click Cancel to stop or Continue Anyway if you still want to send the template.
Troubleshooting
- No status colors appear: Make sure you are in a DM conversation and that FBuddy icon > Tweaks > FBuddy Features > Vault Media Status is enabled. Refresh Fansly after changing the toggle.
- A status takes a moment to appear: Wait for the Checking media status... message to finish, especially in conversations with a large media history.
- A Text Template warning appears: Review the listed media before sending. The warning means the template includes one or more media items that FBuddy found in the fan's previous received media.
