Video Editor

Edit videos from your vault or device with trim controls, portrait/landscape output, and overlay tools, then download or save to your edits album.

Use Video Editor when you want to quickly trim a clip, reframe it for vertical viewing, or add overlays before posting.

Accessing Video Editor

  1. Open Fansly and click the FB button in the header menu.
  2. Select Video Editor.
  3. Choose one source:
    • Pick from Vault
    • Upload from Device
  • You can also open Video Editor from a video tile in Vault using Edit when the Vault Video Editor Actions tweak is enabled.

Video Editor Features

Trim and set output mode

  1. Load a video.
  2. Use the timeline range controls to set the part you want to export.
  3. Choose Landscape or Portrait.
  4. If you choose Portrait, pick:
    • Full for one 9:16 frame
    • Stacked to split the preview into top and bottom sections

Reframe portrait output

  1. In Portrait mode, drag the crop box in the main preview to set your framing.
  2. In Stacked, drag both crop regions and move the split line in the portrait preview.
  3. In Full, toggle Fit or Fill in the portrait preview:
    • Fit keeps the full frame visible
    • Fill crops to fill the 9:16 frame

Add overlays and effects

  1. Use the left toolbar to add layers:
    • Text
    • Emoji
    • Sticker
    • Blur
    • Pixelate
    • Color Block
  2. Select a layer to edit it in the right panel.
  3. Use Selection for layer settings and Layers to reorder, hide/show, or delete layers.
  4. Use Undo and Redo for quick revisions.

Export your result

  1. Click Download to save the edited video to your device.
  2. Click Save to Vault to upload the edited video to your account.
  3. If you save to vault, find the result in the [FB] Edits album.

Troubleshooting

  • Export failed. Please try again.: Shorten the selected clip and try again.
  • Failed to save to vault. Please try again.: Check that you are signed in and can upload media, then retry.
  • Could not load video from vault.: Reopen Video Editor and select the video again from Pick from Vault.
