Media Performance

Compare individual Fansly media performance, review FYP and direct views, and spot which posts are driving engagement and revenue.

Media Performance helps you review how individual Fansly media items are doing. Use it when you want to compare FYP views, direct views, engagement, revenue, tags, and post timing before deciding what to post next.

Accessing Media Performance

  1. Open Fansly.
  2. Click the FBuddy button in the top-right corner.
  3. Select Media Performance.

You can also open it from the FBuddy Report panel by clicking the panel actions menu (three-dot icon) and selecting Media Performance.

Media List

The list shows your media for the selected period, ordered by FYP Views. Each media card includes:

  • FBuddy Score: A video performance score from 0.0 to 2.0. A value around 1.0 means average performance. If a score is not available, the card shows N/A.
  • FYP Views: Views from the For You Page. For locked media, this can count the preview people saw first.
  • Direct Views: Views from places that are not the For You Page or Tags, such as your profile or timeline. For locked media, this can count the preview people saw first.
  • Engagement: Average viewing time as a percentage of the media duration.
  • Revenue: Earnings connected to that media when available.
  • Posted: The date and time the media was posted.

Each card also includes a link to open the media statistics page on Fansly.

The Show only media shown on FYP checkbox is enabled by default. Turn it off when you want to include media that did not receive FYP views in the selected period.

Media Performance shows supported photo and video media. Items that cannot be previewed or measured in the dialog are skipped.

Date Range

Free users see media activity for the past 7 days.

Pro users see the last 30 days by default and can use the date range selector at the top of the dialog to choose another past preset or a custom past date range.

Media Details

Click a media item to open its details. The details view can show:

  • a larger media preview,
  • Tags from the post,
  • Top Discovery Tags that brought FYP views to that media,
  • the original Post Text,
  • Key Metrics such as FYP views, direct views, engagement, average watch time for videos, and revenue,
  • Performance Over Time with FYP and direct views,
  • Traffic Breakdown when source details are available,
  • Performance Breakdown with recent daily entries.

If an eye badge appears on the preview, the dialog is showing the preview version that viewers saw.

Click Back to media list to return to the grid.

Comparing Media

Use comparison mode when you want to understand why one post performed better than another.

  1. Click Select for Comparison.
  2. Select 2 to 4 media items.
  3. Click Compare (2 selected), Compare (3 selected), or Compare (4 selected).

The comparison view highlights the best performer, compares each selected media item side by side, and shows a FYP Views Comparison chart plus Summary Statistics such as engagement rate, revenue per view, and top discovery tag.

Important Notes

  • FBuddy Score is currently shown for videos when a score is available. Scores range from 0.0 to 2.0, with 1.0 meaning average performance.
  • Revenue values are best used as directional signals. They may not match your full account earnings total.
  • Weekend days are highlighted in charts to help you compare weekday and weekend patterns.
  • Locked media can show preview-based views where that is the version viewers saw first.

Troubleshooting

  • No media found: You may not have posted media in the selected period, or the default FYP-only filter may be hiding media without FYP views. Turn off Show only media shown on FYP or choose a broader date range if you have Pro.
  • No walls found: Check that you are viewing the correct Fansly account and that the account has a wall with posts.
  • The list keeps loading: Refresh Fansly, open the FBuddy menu again, and select Media Performance.
  • The numbers look outdated: Open the FBuddy Report panel actions menu, click Refresh FBuddy Report, then reopen Media Performance.
  • The date range selector is missing: Custom date ranges require Pro. Free users see the last 7 days.
  • A media item cannot be selected for comparison: Comparison supports up to 4 media items at once. Deselect another item or click Exit Selection Mode and start again.
