Timewaster Badge
Spot fans with community Timewaster reports in DMs and related fan lists.
Timewaster Badge helps you notice fans who have been reported by the FBuddy community for wasting creator time. When a fan reaches your report threshold, FBuddy shows a red Timewaster badge near that fan so you can review the context before replying.
Where to Find It
The badge appears anywhere FBuddy shows DM fan badges, including conversations, Online Users, Unanswered Messages, Top Spenders, profile rows, and account cards.
You can also review a fan's Timewaster details from their FBuddy profile:
- Open the fan's profile in FBuddy.
- Find
Community Reports. - Check

Reports neededthreshold, or you personally reported the fan. - Timewaster Status: Active: The badge is currently visible for that fan.
- Timewaster Status: Inactive: The fan does not currently meet your active badge conditions.
- Timewaster Reports: Shows the current report count compared with your threshold, such as
2/3 report(s).

Reporting a Timewaster
Use reports only for clear, helpful context that other creators can understand.
- Open the fan's profile in FBuddy.
- Find
Community Reports. - Click
Report Timewaster. - Enter a reason.
- Click
Submit Report.
Your report is public to FBuddy users. Include useful context and proof when possible, such as links to externally hosted screenshots or media. Be careful with any external proof links because other users may open them, and reports without proof may be removed.
If you already reported the fan, the button changes to Undo Report. Click it if you want to remove your report.
Correcting an Incorrect Badge
If a Timewaster badge looks inaccurate or unfair, submit an inaccuracy report from the same Community Reports card.
- Open the fan's profile in FBuddy.
- Find
Community Reports. - Click
Report Inaccuracy. - Explain why the tag is inaccurate.
- Click
Submit Inaccuracy.
Three inaccuracy reports within 30 days remove the badge for everyone. If you already submitted one, the button changes to Undo Inaccuracy.
