Message Pinning

Save important DM messages to a fan's User Profile so you can quickly find and reuse key context later.

Message Pinning helps you keep high-value DM context in one place, so you can quickly review key details before replying.

Accessing Message Pinning

  1. Open Messages and select a DM conversation.
  2. If you do not see FBuddy tools in the conversation, click the FBuddy icon, then open Tweaks.
  3. Turn on User Profile and Message Pinning if either one is disabled.
  4. Return to the conversation and open a text message action row.
  • Navigation path: Messages -> DM conversation -> FBuddy icon -> Tweaks -> User Profile / Message Pinning
  • Where to use it: inside a DM conversation and the Pinned Messages card in User Profile
  • Plan requirement: Pro

Message Pinning Features

Pin a message from a DM

  1. Open a DM conversation with the fan.
  2. Open the action row for a text message.
  3. Click [FBuddy] Pin this message.
  4. Wait for the success message.

Expected result:

  • The message is saved to that fan's Pinned Messages card.
  • The pinned list updates so you can review it from User Profile.

Review pinned messages in User Profile

  1. Open the same fan's User Profile.
  2. Find the Pinned Messages card.
  3. Scroll the list to review saved messages.
  4. If the fan already has pinned items, use the search field to filter by text.
  5. Each item shows whether the message was sent by you or the fan.
  6. Pinned items are sorted with newest first.

Expected result:

  • You can quickly review saved message context for that specific fan.
  • Search updates the visible list as you type.

Unpin a message

  1. Open the fan's User Profile and go to Pinned Messages.
  2. Find the saved message you no longer need.
  3. Click the trash icon next to that message.
  4. Wait for the success message.

Expected result:

  • The message is removed from that fan's pinned list.
  • The Pinned Messages card updates immediately.

Important Notes

  • Note: Pinned messages are tied to a specific fan profile.
  • Note: If the pin action or Pinned Messages card is missing, open Tweaks and make sure both User Profile and Message Pinning are turned on.
  • Note: Message pin actions only appear on messages with text content; image-only messages cannot be pinned.
  • You can pin both your messages and the fan's messages.
  • The search field appears after you have at least one pinned message for that fan.
  • The same message text from the same side of a conversation is only pinned once for that fan.
  • Messages longer than 10,000 characters cannot be pinned.
