Message Pinning

Pin important DM messages so you can quickly find them later in the User Profile panel.

Keep key messages at your fingertips. Pin any important DM in a conversation and review all pinned items for that fan in the User Profile panel.

What It Does

  • Adds a pin button to messages in DM conversations for quick reference.
  • Saves pinned messages per fan and shows them in the Pinned Messages card in the User Profile panel.
  • Lets you search pinned messages and remove pins at any time.

Requirements

  • FBuddy browser extension installed and enabled
  • Signed in to your Fansly creator account
  • Signed in to FBuddy within the extension
  • Access to the Messages page with a conversation open
  • Pro plan
  • "Message Pinning" enabled under FBuddy -> Tweaks (on by default)
  • "User Profile" enabled under FBuddy -> Tweaks to view pinned messages in the User Profile panel (on by default)

Where to Find It

  • On Fansly, click the FBuddy button in the top-right, then choose Tweaks to manage the toggle.
  • In any DM conversation, move your cursor over a message to reveal the pin icon next to the message actions.
  • To review pinned items, open the right-hand User Profile panel. On smaller screens, use the button in the conversation header to open the panel.
  • In the User Profile panel, open the Pinned Messages card. If you have pinned items, you'll see a search box to filter them.
  • Each pinned message has a trash icon to unpin it.
  • Don't see the panel? Open the FBuddy menu -> Tweaks and enable "User Profile," then refresh the page.

Quick Start

  1. Open Fansly, click the FBuddy button -> Tweaks, and make sure "Message Pinning" is on.
  2. Open a DM conversation and hover a message to show the pin icon.
  3. Click the pin icon to save it. You'll see a confirmation when successful.
  4. Open the User Profile panel at the right and scroll to Pinned Messages to view, search, or remove pins.

Tips

  • You can pin both your messages and the fan's messages.
  • Pinned items are ordered newest first.
  • Trying to pin the same message again shows that it's already pinned.

Limits

  • Works for messages that include text. Messages with only attachments are not pinnable.
  • Pins are specific to each fan conversation.
  • Messages longer than 10,000 characters can't be pinned.

Troubleshooting

  • Pin icon not showing: Ensure you're on the Messages page, signed in on the Pro plan, and that "Message Pinning" is enabled in Tweaks. The pin icon only appears on messages that include text. Refresh the page if needed.
  • "This message is already pinned": That message was already pinned for this conversation.
  • "Could not extract message text": Pin a message that includes text content.
  • "Failed to pin message": Refresh the conversation and try again. If the issue persists, sign out and back in.
  • "Pinning messages requires a Pro subscription": Upgrade to the Pro plan to use Message Pinning.
  • "Could not determine fan account": Reopen the DM conversation or refresh the page, then try pinning again.
  • Pinned Messages panel missing: Open the FBuddy menu -> Tweaks and enable "User Profile," then refresh. On smaller screens, use the button in the conversation header to open the panel.
  • Pin fails on very long messages: Only messages up to 10,000 characters can be pinned, so try pinning a shorter message.
