Mass Media Permissions

Change the permissions for every media item in one post at the same time.

Mass Media Permissions lets you update the access rules for all media on one post in one step. Use it when you want to set the same rule on a post's media at once instead of changing each media item separately.

Accessing Mass Media Permissions

  1. Open Fansly while FBuddy is enabled.
  2. Open one of your own posts, or open a post from your own profile's posts page.
  3. Click the FB post actions button on the post.
  4. Click Mass Media Permissions.
  5. Wait for the Mass Media Permissions window to finish scanning the post.

Mass Media Permissions is enabled by default. To hide or show it, open FBuddy icon > Tweaks > FBuddy Features and use the Mass Media Permissions toggle.

Updating a Post

  1. Open Mass Media Permissions from the post you want to update.
  2. Check the number next to Direct media found. If the post includes media bundles, also check Bundles found.
  3. Click Edit Permissions.
  4. Choose the permissions you want to apply in the Media Permissions window. To remove permission rules from the post media, leave the editor with no rules so it shows No permissions.
  5. Click Save.
  6. Click Apply to Post.
  7. Review the update result, then refresh the page so the updated media permissions are visible.

The selected permission choices are applied to every direct media item and media bundle FBuddy finds in that post.

Permission Options

In the Media Permissions window, you can use basic permissions for common rules:

  • Require Purchase: set a price from $1 to $500.
  • Require Subscription: require any subscription tier or choose a specific tier.
  • Require Follow: require the fan to follow you.

If you save with No permissions, FBuddy removes permission rules from the media it updates.

Turn on Advanced Permissions when you need more specific rules:

  • Add multiple permission groups. Groups are separated by OR, so a fan can qualify through any one group.
  • Combine rules inside one group, such as purchase and subscription requirements.
  • Add Private List to limit access to fans on a selected list.
  • Add Limited Time to make a permission group available only within a selected time window.
  • Use Subscribed (More Options) to add timing conditions to a subscription requirement.

Presets

Use presets when you reuse the same permission setup across posts.

  1. Click Edit Permissions.
  2. Choose the rules you want.
  3. Click Save Preset.
  4. Enter a Label.
  5. Click Save.

To reuse a saved setup later, click Load Preset in the Media Permissions window and choose the preset label.

To remove a saved setup, click Load Preset and delete the preset from that menu.

Important Notes

  • Mass Media Permissions works only on posts FBuddy can identify as your own posts.
  • The Apply to Post button stays disabled until FBuddy finds media in the post and you have clicked Save in the Media Permissions window.
  • Applying changes can affect multiple media items at once and cannot be undone from this window. Review the selected rules before clicking Apply to Post.
  • If every item updates, FBuddy closes the window and shows how many items changed. If some items fail, the window stays open and the result shows how many changed and how many failed.
  • Refresh the page after applying changes so the updated media permissions are visible.
