Story Scheduler

Schedule Fansly story posts from FBuddy and review posted stories in one place.

Story Scheduler lets you queue Fansly story posts for a future time. Use it when you want FBuddy to post a story later while you keep a Fansly tab open.

Accessing Story Scheduler

  1. Open Fansly with FBuddy enabled.
  2. Click the FBuddy icon in the top navigation.
  3. Select Story Scheduler.

You can also open Story Scheduler from the FB menu in the Stories bar when Story Scheduler Menu is enabled in FBuddy icon > Tweaks.

Scheduling a Story

  1. Open Story Scheduler.
  2. In the Queue tab, click New Story.
  3. Select one media item for the story.
  4. Choose the Go live time.
  5. Click Schedule Story.

FBuddy shows the story in the Queue tab after it is scheduled. The new story form stays open so you can schedule another story if needed.

Managing Scheduled Stories

The Queue tab shows stories that are scheduled, overdue, posting, failed, or canceled. Each row includes the media preview, status, scheduled time, permissions, and available actions.

  • Copy: Create a new scheduled story using the same media and permissions.
  • Edit: Change the media, permissions, or Go live time for a queued story. This is not available while a story is posting.
  • Retry: Reschedule a failed story for another attempt.
  • Delete: Remove the story from Story Scheduler.

Archive

The Archive tab shows stories after they post or are skipped. Use Copy to schedule another story from an archived row, Delete to remove one archived row, or Clear All to remove every archived story.

Settings That Affect This Feature

Story Scheduler Menu in FBuddy icon > Tweaks controls whether FBuddy adds an FB menu to the Fansly Stories bar. The setting is on by default. Turning it off hides that Stories bar menu, but you can still open Story Scheduler from the main FBuddy dropdown.

Important Notes

  • Fansly tab required: FBuddy posts scheduled stories only while a Fansly tab is open.
  • Sign-in required: You must be signed in to your FBuddy account to use Story Scheduler.
  • Free queue limit: Free users can queue up to 5 stories at a time.
  • One media item: Each scheduled story supports one media attachment.
  • Minimum time: The Go live time must be at least 1 minute in the future.
  • Missed stories: If FBuddy cannot post a story within about 30 minutes of its Go live time, the story moves to Archive as Skipped.

Troubleshooting

  • "Please sign in to use Story Scheduler" or "Sign in to your FBuddy account to use Story Scheduler.": Sign in to your FBuddy account, then open Story Scheduler again.
  • "Open a Fansly tab to enable scheduling", "Open a Fansly tab to schedule stories.", or "Open a Fansly tab to edit stories.": Open or refresh a Fansly tab before scheduling or editing a story.
  • "Free users can queue up to 5 stories": Delete a queued story, wait for one to post, or upgrade your plan before scheduling another one.
  • "Schedule time must be at least 1 minute from now": Pick a later Go live time.
  • "Posting timed out": Open or refresh a Fansly tab, then use Retry on the failed story.
  • "Media upload failed" or "Fansly rejected the story": Check that the selected media is still available and allowed for stories, then use Edit or Retry.
  • "Missed schedule window" or a story is marked "Skipped": The story was too far past its Go live time to post automatically. Open the Archive tab, use Copy to schedule it again, and keep a Fansly tab open before the new time.
