Mass Direct Message

Send one message to many fans at once with filters and personalization.

Send one message to many recipients at once. Personalize each DM, choose exactly who should receive it, and let the send continue in the background while your Fansly tab stays open, even after you close the modal.

What It Does

  • Sends a single direct message to many recipients at once
  • Personalizes each DM with simple variables (see Personalization Variables)
  • Lets you attach media to the message
  • Targets specific audiences: subscribers (by tier and renew status), followers, or selected lists (list members always receive it). You can optionally include expired subscribers.
  • Offers filters to skip creators who aren't subscribed to you, offline users, specific usernames, or entire lists for other sources
  • Runs in the background; you can close the modal and return later as long as your Fansly tab stays open
  • Tracks progress with a History view and supports pause/resume, unsend all, and reuse of past setups

Requirements

  • FBuddy extension installed and signed in
  • Pro plan
  • A Fansly account you can DM from

Where to Find It

  • In Fansly, click the FB button (top-right) -> Mass Direct Message

Quick Start

  1. Open Mass Direct Message from the FB button.
  2. Write your message
    • Keep it short and friendly.
    • Use variables like {{customName}}, {{displayName}}, or {{username}}. Add a fallback with ||, for example: {{customName || 'there'}}.
  3. (Optional) Attach media
    • Add one or more items from your vault or uploads.
    • Set attachment permissions if needed.
  4. Choose who receives it
    • Subscribers: include all tiers or pick specific tiers; choose auto-renew on/off.
    • Expired Subscribers (optional): include expired subscribers (you can still filter by tier).
    • Followers: include followers who aren't currently subscribed.
    • Lists: include one or more lists. Everyone on included lists receives it, even if they don't match other filters. To skip someone, remove them from that list before sending.
    • Exclusions: toggle Exclude Creators to skip creators who aren't subscribed to you; turn on Exclude Offline Users to send only to people who are online when you start (included lists can still add anyone on those lists); add Excluded Lists to block whole lists for subscriber/follower sources; add specific usernames to exclude (this does not remove anyone added through Included Lists).
  5. Click Send.
    • The send starts and continues in the background. Keep your Fansly tab open; you can close the modal or navigate within that tab.
  6. Manage the send
    • Reopen FB -> Mass Direct Message to see History. From there you can pause/resume, copy settings to a new message, unsend all messages sent by this job, or delete the job.

Personalization Variables

  • {{customName}} - your nickname for the fan, if set
  • {{displayName}} - the fan's display name, when available
  • {{username}} - the fan's handle
  • Fallbacks: use {{variable || 'text'}} to supply a default (example: {{customName || 'there'}}).

Tips

  • Start with a smaller segment (a list or a tier) to validate your message.
  • Use a warm opener with a variable and a clear call-to-action.
  • If attaching media, check permissions match your intent before sending.

Limits & Notes

  • One mass direct message can run at a time. If another tab is running one, you'll see a notice; pause it there or wait for it to finish.
  • Sending is automatically paced. Very large attachments or long queues may take longer.
  • The recipient list can grow during the run when you include subscribers, followers, or lists, so the total may increase over time. If Exclude Offline Users is enabled, the job focuses on people who are online when you start (included lists can still add anyone on those lists).
  • Included lists ignore other filters and exclusions. Remove people from the included list before sending if you don't want them included.
  • If you close every Fansly tab, the send can't continue. Open Fansly again to keep it moving, then check History to confirm it's running.
  • "Unsend all" attempts to delete messages already sent by this job; some messages may not be deletable.

Troubleshooting

  • Can't start a new send: An active job may be running. Open FB -> Mass Direct Message and pause or finish it first.
  • Recipients show 0 or the total doesn't grow: Make sure you enabled at least one source (subscribers, followers, or included lists). If Exclude Offline Users is on, you may not have any matching recipients who are online when you start. Turn it off or try again later.
  • Some sends fail: Open the job in History and click the failed count to review recipients. Remove problematic attachments or exclusions, then try again.
