Update Notifications

Update Notifications helps you notice new FBuddy changes quickly so you can review updates without manually checking release notes.

Accessing Update Notifications

1. Open Fansly.
2. Click the FB button in the top-right corner.
3. Select Updates to open the latest update list.
4. If you want toast alerts, select Tweaks and leave Update Notifications enabled.

• Navigation path: FB > Updates.
• Toast setting path: FB > Tweaks > Update Notifications.
• Direct link: Tweaks.

Update Notifications Features

Get notified when an update is available

1. Open FB > Tweaks.
2. Make sure Update Notifications is enabled.
3. Refresh Fansly after changing the setting.
4. When new updates are available, a toast shows New updates available!.
5. Click View Updates in the toast to open the updates list.

Open updates manually anytime

1. Click the FB button.
2. Select Updates.
3. Review the latest entries at the top of the list.

See if updates are unread

• A red dot appears on the FB button when new updates are available.
• A red dot also appears next to Updates in the menu until you open the updates view.
• Opening Updates marks the current list as viewed.

Troubleshooting

• I am not seeing update toasts: Open FB > Tweaks, make sure Update Notifications is enabled, then refresh Fansly. You can still open FB > Updates even if toast alerts are off.
• I saw a red dot but no toast: Open FB > Updates directly to view the latest changes.
• I dismissed the toast and the red dot disappeared: Dismissing the update toast counts the current updates as viewed in this browser.
• I opened Updates and still see the red dot: Close the Updates view, then open the FB menu again so the indicator can refresh.
• The updates list looks older than expected: Refresh Fansly, then open FB > Updates again.

Important Notes

• Update Notifications is enabled by default.
• The update list is always available from FB > Updates and does not require extra setup.
• The Update Notifications setting only controls the toast alert.
• Unread update indicators are based on what you have viewed in the current browser.
• Changes to Tweaks settings, including Update Notifications, take effect after you refresh Fansly.
