Update Notifications

Stay up to date with new features, improvements, and fixes. FBuddy can show a small red dot on the FB button and an optional toast that links directly to the Updates view.

What It Does

• Shows a red dot on the FB button when there's something new to read.
• Optionally displays a "New updates available" toast with a quick "View Updates" action.
• Opens an in-product Updates view listing recent changes with dates (most recent first).
• Marks updates as seen after you open the Updates view or dismiss the toast, clearing the red dot until new updates are published.

Requirements

• FBuddy browser extension installed and active.
• You're browsing Fansly where the FB button is visible.

Where to Find It

• On Fansly, click the FB button in the top-right corner, then choose "Updates".
• Toggle the toast: FB button -> "Tweaks" -> "Update Notifications".

Quick Start

1. Open Fansly with the FBuddy extension enabled.
2. If you see a red dot on the FB button, click it and select "Updates" to read what's new.
3. If a toast appears, click "View Updates" to open the same view.
4. To turn off future toasts, open "Tweaks" from the FB button and disable "Update Notifications".

Behavior

• Most recent updates appear first. The indicator shows once per update on each device.
• Opening the Updates view or dismissing the toast marks the latest updates as seen.
• The red dot reappears automatically when new updates are published.

Troubleshooting

• No toast appears: The "Update Notifications" toggle may be off (FB button -> Tweaks). If it's on, you may have already viewed or dismissed the latest update.
• No "Updates" option: Make sure the FBuddy extension is installed and active, and that you're viewing Fansly.
• Red dot doesn't clear: Open "Updates" from the FB button. If it persists, refresh the page and check again.
