Update Notifications

Update Notifications lets FBuddy tell you when there are new release notes to read. Use it when you want a quick reminder after FBuddy has added or changed features.

Accessing Update Notifications

Update Notifications is on by default.

To turn it off or back on:

1. Open Fansly with FBuddy enabled.
2. Click the FBuddy icon.
3. Choose Tweaks.
4. Open FBuddy Features.
5. Find Update Notifications.
6. Turn the switch on or off.

What You Will See

When FBuddy has updates you have not viewed yet, a toast appears that says New updates available! with a View Updates button.

Click View Updates to open the Updates window. After you open or dismiss the update notification, FBuddy marks the current updates as viewed.

Reviewing Updates Manually

You can open the update history without waiting for a toast:

1. Click the FBuddy icon.
2. Choose Updates.
3. Read the latest entries in the Updates window.

If there are unseen updates, the Updates menu item can show a small red dot.

Troubleshooting

• No update notification appears: Open FBuddy icon > Tweaks > FBuddy Features and make sure Update Notifications is turned on. The toast appears only when there are updates you have not viewed yet.
• The toast disappeared before you clicked it: Open FBuddy icon > Updates to read the same update history manually.
• The update dot is still showing: Open FBuddy icon > Updates. Viewing the Updates window marks the current updates as viewed.
