Text Templates

Save reusable message drafts and insert them quickly while writing DMs, Mass DMs, and posts.

Text Templates help you save common replies and reuse them in a few clicks, so you can respond faster and keep your messaging consistent.

You can use Text Templates from supported composer toolbars in chats and posts, with quick insert and optional scheduled send for DM workflows.

Accessing Text Templates

  1. Open Fansly and click the FB button in the top-right corner.
  2. Select Tweaks.
  3. Enable Text Templates.
  4. Open a message composer, Mass DM composer, or post composer.
  5. Click the FB icon in the input toolbar and choose Text Templates.
  6. (Optional) Click Manage Templates to create folders and edit saved templates.

  • Direct link: /features/text-templates
  • In DM and Mass DM composers, Text Templates is available to Pro users only.
  • Free users can still create and use templates in Post Composer, but data is saved on this device.
  • Pro users get cloud sync across devices.

Text Templates Features

Create and organize templates

  1. Open Text Templates from a supported composer.
  2. Click Text Templates.
  3. Select Manage Templates.
  4. Click New Template, then enter a title and message text.
  5. Optionally create folders and assign templates to a folder.

Expected result:

  • Your template appears in the Text Templates list and can be searched by title or content.

If your account is on Pro, your template library is synced across other signed-in devices.

Insert saved text while you type

  1. In a supported composer, open Text Templates.
  2. Optionally choose a folder or use Search templates....
  3. Click a template to insert its text into the current input.

Expected result:

  • The template text is inserted at your cursor.
  • In post and Mass DM composition, template media is not sent. In those contexts, only text is inserted.

Personalize messages with variables

Use the template variable buttons while creating or editing a template:

  • {{customName}}
  • {{displayName}}
  • {{username}}
  • Fallback format, for example: {{customName || 'babe'}}

If a value is missing, fallback text is used.

Common variable patterns:

  • customName uses your custom note value for that fan.
  • displayName uses the fan display name.
  • username uses the fan username.
  • {{customName || 'babe'}} falls back when no custom name is available.

Send templates faster in DMs

Inside DM conversations, template rows include extra send actions:

  • Quick send to send immediately.
  • Schedule send to send after a delay you choose.
  1. Open Text Templates in a DM composer.
  2. Click Quick send to send right away.
  3. Click Schedule send, choose a delay, and confirm.

Expected result:

  • Scheduled and queued sends show in the Send Queue tab of Manage Templates.
  • For templates with media, the extension checks whether the fan has already received that media and can pause send if needed.

If the template includes media, you can review and confirm before sending.

Important Notes

  • Note: In some composer entry points, free accounts can see a Pro required for templates here message and need Pro to send in that view.
  • Note: Free accounts can still create templates, but they are stored on the current device.
  • Note: Pro accounts use cloud-synced templates, so your template library follows your account.
  • Note: Template media is sent only in DMs. In other supported composers, media on a template is inserted as text-only content.

Troubleshooting

  • "Pro required for templates here": Upgrade to Pro to use Text Templates in DM or Mass DM composers.
  • No templates appear: Open Manage Templates and create at least one template, then reopen the menu.
  • "Title and content cannot be empty": Add both fields before saving.
  • "No templates found": Clear the search box or switch to All Templates.
