Text Templates

Save reusable message drafts and insert them quickly while writing DMs, Mass DMs, and posts.

Text Templates help you save common replies and reuse them in a few clicks, so you can respond faster and keep your messaging consistent.

Use it when you want to insert saved replies from the composer toolbar, organize them into folders, and reuse the same wording across DMs, Mass DMs, and posts.

Accessing Text Templates

  1. Open Fansly and click the FB button in the top-right corner.
  2. Select Tweaks.
  3. Make sure Text Templates is enabled.
  4. Open a DM composer, Mass DM composer, or post composer.
  5. Click the FB icon in the composer toolbar.
  6. Select Text Templates.
  7. Optional: Click Manage Templates to create folders, edit templates, and review scheduled sends.
  • Direct link: /features/text-templates
  • In some views, the menu shows Pro required for templates here.
  • Free accounts store templates on the current device.
  • Pro accounts keep templates in sync across your devices.

Text Templates Features

Create and organize templates

  1. Open Text Templates from a supported composer.
  2. Click Manage Templates.
  3. Click New Template, then enter a title and message text.
  4. Optional: Create folders to group related templates.
  5. Optional: Move templates into folders so they are easier to find later.

Expected result:

  • Your template appears in the Text Templates list and can be searched by title or content.
  • You can edit, move, or delete templates later from Manage Templates.

Insert saved text while you type

  1. In a supported composer, open Text Templates.
  2. Optionally choose a folder or use Search templates....
  3. Click a template to insert its text into the current input.

Expected result:

  • The template text is inserted at your cursor.
  • In post and Mass DM composers, choosing a template inserts text only.
  • In DMs, templates with media open a Use Template dialog so you can insert text, send now, or schedule the send.

Personalize messages with variables

Use the template variable buttons while creating or editing a template:

  • {{customName}}
  • {{displayName}}
  • {{username}}
  • Fallback format, for example: {{customName || 'babe'}}

Common variable patterns:

  • customName uses your saved custom name for that fan.
  • displayName uses the fan display name and falls back to the username if needed.
  • username uses the fan username.
  • {{customName || 'babe'}} falls back when no custom name is available.

Send templates faster in DMs

Inside DM conversations, template rows include extra send actions:

  • Quick send to send immediately.
  • Schedule send to send after a delay you choose.
  1. Open Text Templates in a DM composer.
  2. Click Quick send to send right away.
  3. Click Schedule send, enter a delay in seconds, and confirm.

Expected result:

  • Scheduled sends show in the Send Queue tab of Manage Templates.
  • If a template includes media that was already sent in that DM, you are warned before continuing.

Important Notes

  • Note: When you see Pro required for templates here, Text Templates are not available in that view unless you have Pro.
  • Note: Free accounts can still create templates, but they are stored on the current device.
  • Note: Pro accounts keep templates in sync across devices signed in to the same account.
  • Note: In post and Mass DM composers, selecting a template inserts the saved text only.
  • Note: In DMs, templates with media can open Use Template, where you can insert the text, send it, or schedule it.

Troubleshooting

  • "Pro required for templates here": That composer only supports Text Templates on Pro. Open a supported composer or upgrade to Pro for that view.
  • No templates appear: Open Manage Templates and create at least one template. If the list is still empty, clear the search box or switch back to All Templates.
  • "Title and content cannot be empty": Add both fields before saving.
  • "No templates found": Clear the search box or switch back to All Templates.
