Image Editor
Add text, emoji, stickers, blur, pixelation, and color blocks to an image before downloading or reusing it.
Image Editor helps you quickly mark up images before sharing or reusing them with labels, privacy masks, and visual overlays.
Accessing Image Editor
- Open Fansly and click the
FBuddyextension icon in the header menu. - Select
Image Editor. - Pick a source:
Pick from Vaultto load an image from your vaultUpload from Deviceto load an image file from your computer
- Optional quick entry: enable
Vault Image Editor Actionsin Tweaks to make vault image tiles showEdit; clickEditto open that image directly.
If you open an image from a post preview, the editor opens in in-flow mode so Save Changes updates that preview.
Image Editor Features
Add and style text
- Click the
Add Texttool. - Click anywhere on the canvas to place a text layer.
- In
Text Properties, adjust:- Font
- Size
- Text color
- Background color
- Background opacity
- Update the text itself in
Element PropertiesunderText Content.
Add emoji and stickers
- Click
Add Emojito place an emoji layer on the canvas. - Select the emoji layer to change the icon and size in
Element Properties. - Click
Add Stickerto upload an image from your device as a sticker layer. - Drag corner handles to resize sticker and emoji layers.
Hide or mask parts of an image
- Choose one of these tools:
Blur AreaPixelate AreaColor Block
- Click and drag on the canvas to draw the area you want to cover.
- Select the new layer and fine-tune it in
Element Properties:- Blur radius for blur layers
- Pixel size for pixelated layers
- Color and opacity for color block layers
Manage layers and order
- Open the
Layerspanel to select, hide/show, reorder, or delete layers. - Drag list items in the layer list to reorder, or use the up/down controls.
- Use
UndoandRedoto step through recent changes. - Select the
Select/Movetool, then drag any visible layer on the canvas to reposition it. - For quick edits in other flows (such as media previews),
Save Changesapplies the edited image back into the current flow without downloading.
Important Notes
- Note: In the standalone Image Editor (opened from the FBuddy menu), use
Downloadto save to your device. - Note: In the in-flow editor (for example, from a post preview), use
Export Imageto download andSave Changesto keep the edited image in that flow. - Note: Exported images are saved as
.pngfiles. - Note: Click
Save to Vaultto upload the edited image to your[FB] Editsalbum. - Note:
Upload from Deviceonly accepts image files. - Note: If you upload a non-image file, you'll see
Please select an image file. - Note: If you see
Could not load image from vault., reopen Image Editor and choose the file fromPick from Vaultagain. - Note: If you see
Could not read selected image., try a different image file. - Note: If you see
Failed to save to vault. Please try again., make sure you are signed in and try saving again. - Note: If you see
Could not prepare edited image., reopen the Image Editor and try again.
