Unread Message Indicators
See unread Fansly messages at a glance with a tab count and a favicon dot.
See unread Fansly messages at a glance with a tab count and a favicon dot.
What It Does
- Adds an unread count to the Fansly browser tab title when you have new messages.
- Shows a small dot on the tab icon while unread messages exist.
- Refreshes automatically while a Fansly tab with FBuddy is open.
- Caps the display at 99+ when you have a large backlog.
- Clears the badge once your unread messages reach zero or you turn the toggle off.
Requirements
- FBuddy extension installed and enabled on desktop
- Signed in to your Fansly creator account
- Unread Message Indicators toggle turned on in Tweaks (it starts on by default)
Where to Find It
- Open Fansly and click the FB button in the top-right.
- Choose Tweaks.
- In Feature Toggles, switch on Unread Message Indicators.
Quick Start
- Open Fansly on desktop and sign in.
- Click the FB button, then select Tweaks.
- In Feature Toggles, turn on Unread Message Indicators (it is on by default).
- Wait for the tab title and icon to update; refresh the page only if it does not change.
- Keep a Fansly tab open; when new messages arrive, the tab title shows the unread count and the favicon shows a dot.
Tips
- If the badge looks stuck, toggle Unread Message Indicators off and back on, then refresh the page.
- Some browsers or strict profiles may block tab icon changes; try another profile or browser if you never see the dot.
- The indicator only appears on Fansly pages; switch to a Fansly tab to view it.
- Marking messages as read clears the count; when it hits zero, the tab title and icon return to normal.
Troubleshooting
- Indicator missing: confirm the toggle is on in Tweaks and refresh your Fansly tab.
- Count seems off: open Messages to sync; the count updates while the tab stays open.
- Seeing 99+: the display caps at 99+ when many messages are unread; clear some messages to see a lower count.
Limits
- Works while a Fansly tab with FBuddy loaded remains open; closing or sleeping the tab pauses updates.
- Shows at most 99+ unread; very large inboxes will not display an exact number.
