Member Guide

Join an organization, switch between personal and team mode, and understand what members can do.

Join an organization and work with your team under a shared subscription. This guide explains how to accept invitations, switch contexts, and use organization features as a member.

What It Does

  • Lets you work in FBuddy under your team's subscription when an organization is active; if the owner is on Pro, you use those benefits while in organization mode
  • Allows switching between Personal and organization contexts with one click
  • Provides access to organization Fansly accounts that owners or admins activate from the shared slot pool
  • Enables leaving organizations when permitted by your role

Requirements

  • FBuddy account (sign in with the email that received the invitation)
  • Invitation from an organization owner or admin
  • No Pro subscription required to join (only owners need Pro to create organizations)

Where to Find It

  • Dashboard: select Organizations in the sidebar to view your organizations
  • Organization page: after selecting an organization, view members and switch contexts
  • Active badge on an organization card shows which context is active; if nothing is marked Active you're in Personal mode

Accept an Invitation

  1. Open the invitation email and select the link to join.
  2. Sign in to FBuddy if prompted (use the same email the invite was sent to).
  3. After acceptance, the organization opens automatically as your active context. You'll see the Active badge on that organization's page.
  4. It also appears under Dashboard > Organizations so you can return to it later.
  5. Invitation links expire after 3 days. If the link is expired or already used, ask the owner or admin to send a new invitation.

Switch Between Personal and Organization

When you work in FBuddy, you're either in Personal mode or using an Active organization.

  1. Go to Dashboard > Organizations.
  2. Select your organization.
  3. Choose Set Active to switch into the organization. You'll see an Active badge.
  4. Choose Use Personal to switch back to your personal mode at any time.

Tip: The extension and dashboards use whichever context is active.

Using Fansly Accounts With Your Organization

  • When you use FBuddy in organization mode, any Fansly account you open is added to Organization Fansly Accounts for the owner or admins; new accounts start as Inactive until someone activates them.
  • The Organization Fansly Accounts header shows Active / Total and Max; every slot on the owner's plan allows two active accounts.
  • Admins or the owner activate the accounts your team needs; once activated, the account counts toward the organization's Max.
  • Members don't see the management list but can use activated accounts. If you try to use one before it's activated, you'll be prompted to ask an admin to turn it on.

Messaging Restrictions (If Enabled by Your Org)

Some teams set a list of restricted words that cannot be used in outgoing messages while the organization is active.

  • If you try to send a message containing restricted words, FBuddy blocks the send and shows an error listing the words that were blocked.
  • Edit the message to remove the listed words and send again.
  • Restrictions apply only when using the organization; switching to Personal disables organization rules.

Leave an Organization

  1. Go to Dashboard > Organizations and select the organization.
  2. Choose Leave Organization (visible for members). You'll be removed from the member list and the org disappears from your dashboard.
  3. Owners cannot leave; only the owner can delete the organization. Admins must ask the owner to remove them if they need to exit.
  4. If you don't see Leave Organization, ask the owner to remove you.

Roles and Permissions

  • Owner: Full control, including inviting/removing members, editing org settings, activating/deactivating accounts, and deleting the organization.
  • Admin: Invite/cancel invites, edit org settings, activate/deactivate accounts, and remove members (except the owner). Admins cannot delete the organization.
  • Member: Use the organization and leave if the option is available.

Troubleshooting

  • Invitation link doesn't work: Links expire after 3 days or may already be used. Ask your admin to resend a new invite and sign in before opening the link.
  • Organization not showing up: Refresh the Organizations page or sign out and back in with the invited email.
  • Can't activate an account: Only admins/owners can activate. Ask a team admin to activate the account or free a slot if the organization is at its limit.
  • Messages are blocked: Remove the listed restricted words or switch back to Personal if appropriate.
